We are pleased welcome back local sisters Clare Johnston & Helen Frankel for “Inspired by Nature” …. an exhibition of handmade bags and fabric artworks!
We hope you can join us for a chat and “meet the artists” on Saturday 30th March between 2pm to 4pm – or pop in for a peek at the exhibition and sale of works anytime during the exhibition period which will run until 22nd April 2019.

TITLE - “OUR TRADITIONS”
ARTISTS - VANESSA CORUNNA, NATHAN CORUNNA, JOHN CUSACK, BUFFY CORUNNA (NEE PUNCH)
All, artists have a strong connection to their traditions which each artist depicts through their works. Nyungar artists’, Vanessa Corunna and Nathan Corunna share a direct family connection to the Guildford region through their Grandmother who was born by the banks of the river in 1898. Their works pay tribute to their Grandmother and land.
John Cusack, Buffy Corunna and Nathan Corunna use acrylics. John doing traditional dot painting handed down from many generations. Nathan uses acrylics to paint his clan totems and Buffy uses dots to create her traditional stories. Vanessa Corunna uses watercolor to tell her traditional connects to the country.
A Welcome to Country speech will occur at the opening on Saturday 2nd March 1.30 to 3.30pm.
The exhibition runs from Friday 1st March until Monday 25th March.
